Welcome to Cowboy Speak
Southwest of Wood Lake, Minnesota, lies our small but quaint little ranch where we run a commercial cow-calf operation and raise and ride Quarter and Paint Horses.
For years, our focus has been horses and cattle. We’ve always believed the responsibility that comes with raising livestock can be a great teacher and an inspiration to both young and old. It certainly was to all four of our daughters as they were growing up and it continues to be ours today. If you weren’t fortunate enough to be born and raised on the land, it’s hard to describe the commitment and the love a farmer or rancher has to his environment.
Take that feeling one step further and you come to understand the bond between a cowboy, his horse and his way of life. We are dedicated to the promotion and memory of that way of life. We do our best to honor the Cowboy Code and remain true to the values of our childhood heroes.
